The Bridge Project - FIF Scholarship Program was envisioned to provide educational support to the immediate families of qualified EMS Group employees. EMS Group is composed of three companies, namely, EMS Components Assembly, Inc., Alliance Mansols Inc., and EMS Land Services Inc. It was also coined as The Bridge Project because it paves the way to the completion of secondary education to its beneficiaries.
The FIF Scholarship Program is named after the EMS Group Chairman, Mr. Francisco I. Ferrer. His heart is for the employees and he wants to make sure that a better future is provided not only to the employees but also to their families. The program implementation is headed by Mr. Perry A. Ferrer, the President of the companies and his wife, Ms. Ellen J. Ferrer. The couple ensures hands-on management on the implementation of the project.
Further, AMI has a strong tie-up with the Semiconductor and Electronics Industry of the Philippines Inc. (SEIPI) and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) on the delivery of the Electronics Production Line Back-end Operation Level 1 Program. This tie-up ensures that production operators are equipped with the basic behavioural, manufacturing and technical skills necessary in a manufacturing environment.
The Bridge Project strives to enrich every individual’s quality of life through education and employment, thus becoming self-sufficient and productive in order to participate in family and community building. It also aims to link the gap between education and employment by equipping our employees; dependents secondary education and henceforth ensuring employment for high school graduates. We endeavour to support students who have demonstrated a commitment to completing their secondary education and who have certain financial hardships. This is also our way of expressing gratitude to our employees.
